The Brits are as good as anyone up until WWII imho - after that it all gets a bit dodgy everywhere!

Also, the Brits have a list of world-class buildings and areas from the past 30 years or so - much of which we have ripped off.

Gherkin, Lloyds, Shard, Docklands, Tate Modderin etc etc

The Brits didn't just come to Ireland and build everything around us. We Irish built a lot of the architecture we have today. It was Irish architects and labourers that built Leinster House, Government Buildings, the GPO, and Four Courts, amongst others.

As for the spire, you are aware that the British gave it an architectural award?
