Council Elections in Dublin West 2009 ? Will it be Dirty ?

Mulhudart + Castleknock will be interesting next time ? more seats?. Joe Higgins in the line up again poor Ruth Coppinger, Roderick o Gorman (Green) clean cut local and willing to work, Lenihan needing a strong second Councillor ideally from the opposite end of the Constituency to run in next general election with him to get 2 seats to continue the rise, Rumour has it ex PD council election candidate Ben Howe was working like a slave for Joan Burton during generals and seem to do a good job in his area for her judging by the box tallies, perfect candidate to compliment Michael o Donovan (hard worker) and solidify vote, Felix Gallagher Sinn Fein Hard Worker and employed as a Community worker in the area, Gerry Lynam (ex. Independant Councillor and Now FF) Lenihans running mate in generals now clean cut with FF help--- Thanks Danny Bell, Margret Richardson (the Grande Dame) will she run or wont she ? internal blood bath in FF before Election or during it, have heard that all parties looking actively for candidate from castaheany / ongar end of ward - Celine Kinsella and Padraig Brogan two names in the fray anyone know anything about either?
By the looks of it going to be a tough race in mulhudart.
Castleknock might see loss of PD councillor- Would Joe Higgins run here and leave Ruth alone in Mulhudart ?.

ha,nubes! Eh its a bit far away to be predicting these seats, hopefully they will go to some young hard working people who have all of Dublin West in their minds, unlike some of the ones you mentioned

Its an interesting constituency. Fianna Fáil really do need more councillors out there especially if we are going to make a run at the last seat when the constituency is expanded. The work begins now and the odd bloodbath convention is just a sign of a healthy party

Maybe Lynam, after that tv spot on Feuds last week, he has a more holloywood spotlight, he should not have joined the dark side though, he should have stayed independant, how much did he spend on make up?

It's his best chance to become a TD. He wasn't gonna beat Joe for the independent vote.
