And worse, ye complain about lack of water, then complain when Momma Nature gives ye some.

[QUOTE=The Gorgeous Gael;4529989]Is there any way of blaming McGuinness for this, what with the election coming up

    .......?[/QUOTE
I am sure Ger Colleran or Eoghan Harris would like to be of assistance.

This is not rain---it is something else, much more elemental--God's judgement on us or something....

Oh my God, just opened front door---huge lake outside, car swimming in pool of water...cannot get to it......rain coming down in huge rattling sheets, as if some gutter or cistern in the Heavens had suddenly burst.......

AA Roadwatch site won't open. Any idea what roads are like in Rathgar / Harolds Cross /Terenure

I have business in that part of Dublin tonight, and don't know whether to cancel......

RTE 6-1 specifically mentioned problems on the N81, which is Templeogue Road/Terenure Road North/Harold's X Road.

Sorry to hear about all the flooding folks. It is surely tipping out there alright. Never so glad to live on the top of a hill....

Anyway, not much comfort to some, but this will pass and will be soon forgotten by all who are not affected. Such is life. Remember those awful floods a couple of years ago in the midlands and west? Pretty awful that was, but am sure (I hope) they are ok now.
