    - Will Sinn Fein bounce back, i suspect they will, perfect for local issues!
    - Will joe run for a councillor spot?
    - Who will FG replace Varadkar with?

    Just some general discussion thought!
Michael Smyth polled well last time and will be going again for FF.

Two 5 seaters would not be proportionate, Mulhuddart has grown far more than Castleknock. Mulhuddart has about doubled oin 10 years, Castleknock up by about 50%. By rights should be abother 5/6 seats.

However there is no sign of any review, the council itself of course can petition the Minister.

Strange how there is such a din about dail constituencies when the locals are far more of an issue

FG will have two candidates in Castleknock and one in Mulhuddart.

Seemingly Mags Murray is increasing her work-load. Still, her seat is in perilous danger.

It will be interesting to see who loses out in Mulhuddart if the ward stays a 4-seater.

    I expect it to be:

    1 FF- Lynam
    1 FG
    1 SP
With the last seat between SF and Labour

I have heard that Joe Higgins might stand in Castleknock- which I would find surprising as he would strugggle to double their vote in the last LE- which would still be a bad result.

I see the SP, by the way, have a meeting in Kavanaghs pub in Laurel Lodge on Monday about Che Guevara. I'd be surprised if one person went to it.
