In all honesty - what planet are you living on?

This election is between the government and the Socialist Party/ULA. One of the two government candidates, probably Nulty because Loftus is so inept, will be fighting it out with Ruth Coppinger - with the odds at the moment slightly favouring Nulty.

FF have no hope here, David Mcguinness is FF and FF is toxic. They may have forgotten the mess they created, the electorate are not as stupid as FF think. Its Nulty's to lose, and he may well do that ,given his newstalk disaster !

The end result with be another partitionist careerist hack joining the clique of 166 other political hacks who make up the numbers in this illegitimate 26 county state controlled by international business elites. Don't waste your vote for manufactured choice.

If I lived in Dublin West I'd vote for Eithne Loftus. The Dáil is a zoo so we might aswell put animals in there.

As is always the case, as soon as somebody posts up anything positive about Daivd McGuinness, there is a litany of negative responses awaiting. I've been speaking to many people living in Dublin West who have met Cllr McGuinness during this election and I say this in honesty, they have all been incredibly impressed by him. Added to this is his successful appearance on the VB show where both Eithne Loftus and Patrick Nulty simply did not compete. He has also received positive press in the tabloids and most recently in yesterday's IT. I agree with some of what has been said and fully realise that the FF brand remains damaged but this is a special by-election caused by the death of a politician many people, Fianna Fail or otherwise respected. Teams of canvassers from across the country are contributing to the McGuinness campaign and have all been amazed at the positive response they've met, particularly in comparison to February. My view is as simple as this, David McGuinness cannot and should not be ruled out in this by-election.

    Bless your positivity.

The people I speak to have been incredibly courteous to McGuesswork because he is trying to win the Lenihan seat. They have no intention of voting for him.

Even I was courteous to him. Wished him the best of luck.

FF and Darach are of course still in a bubble of denial. David mcGuinnes couldn't even win his convention against a complete unknown, and his name was picked out of a hat , for Gods sake.
All party hacks talk up their candidate , and so what , but for FF people to suggest that FF will win is bodering on the ridiculous. Seriously Lads , cop on, FG picking Mrs. Bouquet has handed Labour a great opportunity to win the seat !!
