    Richard Boyd Barrett

Does anybody else think that Richard Boyd Barrett cannot be taken seriously?

He lives in one of the more wealthy parts of town, yet he tries to pull off an image of someone who lives in a less well off area, who is a hero for the workers?

To me he is a fake. Thankfully he does not stand a snowball's chance in hell that he will get elected.

Not all of DL is an affluent area.
The word 'politics' is derived from the word 'poly', meaning 'many', and the word 'ticks', meaning 'blood sucking parasites

Not the biggest fan of RBB, personally or politically, but he's genuine in his commitment.

Heres somebody who swallows everything the Sindo publishes.

It was a hatchet job and a the poorest example of journalism in a decade

I always liked him when I saw him on television. I haven't a clue where he's standing or even if he's in a political party (is he a green?), but anytime I heard him speak he came across as passionate about what he thought. I like him

I'll agree that he seems to believe in what he's standing for. I just don't trust him.

In fact he's one to watch for a very long shot.
There's always one, somewhere in the country, every election.

    He'll probably make it sometime.
Eamon Gilmore was knocking on the door in Dunlaoghaire for a long time and got in eventually. Boyd-Barrett is young yet.

It'll be a very dark day when an SWPer gets into the Dáil no matter the constituency.
