I recall reading reports that Gerry Adams was targetting on having a SF Mayor in Dublin in the near future. Indeed it sounded like it was for the next term by which I mean this summer. Does that suggest that FF have dropped hints that they would vote for such a candidate? Which of the current SF line-up on Dublin city council would be most likely to get the gig?

And will Niamh Cosgrave complete her turncoating from FG to vote for a SF Mayoral candidate?

The only way we currently would have a SF mayor is if after the next locals FF do a deal with them, however a sure way to stop this is to have a directly elected mayor for Dublin, so this could be on the cards after the next government is formed.
