    From Michael Kennedy TD:

    A Chara

I have been informed by Fingal County Council that due to an escalation in industrial action in the public sector the Council will not be able to provide a black or brown bin collection service on Saturday 13th March next in lieu of the collection would have been due on St. Patrick’s Day, Wednesday, 17th March.

Your next scheduled bin collection after St. Patrick’s Day will therefore take place on Wednesday 24th March as per your collection calendar.

Is that in Fingal ? So that's €252 per annum. Are you paying lifting fees on top ?

    I pay 110 + 8 quid per lift (about 25 lifts PA) = €310 !

    Hmmmm ....

No I'm in county Galway, and the €21/month charge is all in. I pay nothing else. The prices recently dropped when a competitor moved into the area. And guess what? No strikes!
