    Sinn Fein, the donations party.

One question for the Shinners - is the donations figure the total received by all units of the party, or do constituencies do their own fundraising (no smart comments about bank robberies please!) and this figure is omitted from the total?

I can't figure out how they can run constituency offices all over the country on the sum of money they claim to receive.

Sinn Féins accounts were opened up to public scrutiny not so long ago in response to Herr Reichfuher McDowells unfounded alligations.

And on a personal note the Cumann im a member of has donated to 3 worthy causes in the last few months as well.

Parties can't use funds raised outside of the state so your question is both ill-informed and irrelevant

Out of curiosity... are the SF accounts available on-line anywhere?
Nothing will motivate the lazy / apathetic / Americanised / west-British types to embrace their culture and the Irish language.

First of all congratulations to Sinn Féins fund raisers, they are obviously doing their job well.

Secondly if 'Parties can't use funds raised outside of the state so your question is both ill-informed and irrelevant' what do they do with external funds if not use them?

Unbelieveable that the party that has made millons in donations now kicks up a fuss when other parties manage to raise a few shillings. As someone who donates regularly to SF....eg I have seem to be buying tickets for draws every week I am not surprsied they are sucessful at fundaising. Is it not great to sese them use their funds to open offices rather than line their own pockets like Fianna Fail? Jealously is a bitch!

Curiously enough Coca Cola is listed as a significant contributor to the Friends of Sinn Fein in America.

Sinn Féin accounts are subject to exactly the same audit as any other party. Not only that but the party showed its books to Mark Hennessy and another journalist a few months. No other party has done this.

What would be interesting to know is where the massive money being spent by Royston is coming from. It must be like the good old days for the 'made guys' in FF being able to spend all that cash on some patsy without any nasty questions being asked about where the money comes from.
