What are the chances of FG regaining its historical seat in this constituency?.

Is there a Donegal NW? I thought it was NE and SW?

Judging by the locals I wouldn't bet too much money on it - they didn't move on from 1999 - unlike virtually everywhere else.

Mary Harte, jornalist and broadcaster in Derry is being touted in knowledgable circles in both Dublin and letterkenny. With Jimmy Mcdaid under a bit of pressure and Blaney likely to rejoin FF, she'd be well placed recover the FG seat once proudly held by her late father, Paddy Harte

No, Mickey Joe is Pady Harte's nephew, making him Mary's first cousin

Donegal should be merged into a single constituency. With a population around the same as Wexford - which is one constituency - I fail to see the justification for 2 Donegal constituencies.

Daniel o Donnell may run for Sinn Fein---he is very nationalistic you know and takes great pride in his O' Donnell ansestors especialy Red Hugh--if he does he will get a landslide vote.
The crown above the red hand is that of the O'Neill rulers of Ulster---not the Saxe-coborg gotha usurpers crown
