Reality : They dont have the helos or logistics to take part without help from another nation, further its not really a special forces type mission, its marine enforcement.

They would not be going there to refight Jutland.....Every other nation that has ships down there from the Chinese to the Italians, Brits Russians etc have specialist teams/SOF on board to guard ships, attempt hostage rescu and arrests and various other tasks..

Brit and French SOF teams down there are used to gather intel. on the pirates and their bases/operations with boots on the ground.
