Indeed! It's interesting that Fahy is sent out to bat so much for NAMA considering he is up to his neck in the property buy to let business. He's probably seen as an "expert" within the party. Then again the media should be pointing out his extensive property portfolio before any interview done with him.

Fahey is desperate to get support for NAMA so that'll save his business partners. manages to side step declaring lots o his property connections because they're in the wife's name.

Maybe a strategy to get rid of this government is to declare as many FF polititions bankrupt as possible - forcing them to resign.

He told an outright lie on Newstalk last thursday when he said that NAMA would operate on the same basis as what the Swedes did in the '90s. Keane pointed out to him that the Swedes had paid current market price and not some optimistic future value.

He also told a bog porky on radio the week before last when he said that the property market had turned. Wishful thinking I feel.

He's probably the FF TD who epitomises the politician/developer axis more than any other.
He has apartments all over Ireland as well as abroad

From memory, was this not the case where HO INBS staff were told hands off it was being dealt with by Fingers direct.
