Bausch & Lomb creating jobs in Ireland

I'm not sure if this warrants a new thread as I have posted the link on the Teva thread. But at least its a bit of good news. Bausch & Lomb are redeploying 500 jobs from West lothian, Scotland to the US & Ireland. I'm not sure how many jobs are for here though.

A shame the EU can't step in and safeguard those UK jobs.

They seem to redeploy jobs alot. Jobs seem to be always in the balance at B&L, but still its good news for Waterford considering todays earlier announcement

Yes indeed, Waterford seems to take a hit every other week.

I know, the "Sunny South East" but it has the dark cloud of unemployment frequently over it.

Still nothing of this on any Irish media website that I can find. Are they waiting for Comical Mary to make an announcement when the time suits?
