Cannabis haul! This is a Joke, Wake Up Smell the Beans

If we have any chance of legalising cannabis, I feel it will be on the basis of medicinal grounds in which case you will need the support of medicinal users and more importantly, potential medicinal users.

Two weeks ago I watched "run from the cure", I have since convinced six other people to watch it and I'm trying to convince more. I firmly believe that if it was shown to everyone in this country, we would have the support to change these pointless drug laws, Since watching this documentary I have downloaded forms for LCI and I've started sending emails to all the politicians through contact.ie, calling for a change in our drug policies.

I watched the video and sorry but I do not believe it at all, there are some medical uses for cannabis but it is no wonder drug, not according to what has been discovered so far, there may be more discovered in time but this video is a scam. next time you come across something like this google the name and put the word "scam" "con" or "fraud" beside it, then look at as many of the sires as you can and put both sides of the argument together to see which is true.

Generally there is always a little truth in scam, cannabis does have proven medical effects. but it is not going to cure the world I am afraid.

Great post, have seen it also and have also been trying to raise awareness through the same channels as yourself.. There are other forms of treatment and prevention that have helped and cured people but seem to have been suppressed also have a look at the gerson therapy, the story behind vitamin B17 =http://www.1awesomeb17site.com/ im not saying that they work for everyone as that has yet to be established but what i am saying is that every option should be on the table for patients and not just big pharma products, as history points out, it was these companies lobbying governments to make some of these beneficial products illegal. As has the Eu with directives and sneaky laws, as with the watering down of colloidal silver by 90% and other vitamins such as apricot seeds which are only available sun-dried. To legalise these benefits and cures i reckon we will have to do a bit of flaking though as the corporates and governments have their interests in feeding shareholders and themselves.

If you bring in conspiracy theories, other "hidden" drugs etc, it just clouds the issue at hand, start another thread if you want to pursue this train of thought.

It's not a scam. I don't believe it will save the world but given a chance it might make a lot of people better, what have we got to lose? There's thousands of peolpe dying every year anyway.


I have googled Dr Guzzman and his study; mice that had glioma,a fast acting cancer with no current effective treatment, were injected with THC,the cancer dissapeared. No one disputes this,not even the big pharmaceuticals!

I appreciate what your saying, but i felt that the post was appropriate "cannabis haul,wake up smell the beans" cannabis being a help to people with all kinda of ails isnt a conspiracy, neither is the gerson therapy or laterile. The conspiracy is that they are not available. Point taken on board though.

TIF, it is extremely easy to travel between European countries now. It is probably no more expensive or burdensome to travel from Belgium to the Netherlands than it is to travel from the Netherlands to Ireland.

My Dutch friends and acquaintances (from all over the country) approve of their country's permissive approach. They are, however, very unhappy about the fact that the Netherlands attracts hoards of visitors looking for easy drugs (among other things). They see this as an unfortunate and unpleasant by-product of the permissive approach. Surprisingly enough, they actually don't have a very high opinion of drug users.

femme, the more countries there are in which drugs are legal, the less drug tourists that country will have. Put it this way, if X people want to go on a holiday to a destination where drugs are legal in Europe and there is only once such place (Netherlands), then X will travel there. If there are two such destinations (Ireland and Netherlands) , then each country will get, on average X/2 visitors.

There won't be "hoards of visitors". If Ireland decriminalised drugs, perhaps it might encourage other countries too, which would bring down the numbers even further.

Yup, I have witnessed some shroom trips in my time and tripping is entirely different to smoking cannabis.

This question might explain some of Sarahj's more esoteric posts.
