Sarah, I don't mean to cast aspersions on you. You did say though that it was 'Shroom Season' and you asked for suggestions as to where good mushrooms could be found. I wondered if the same arguments in favour of cannabis use could be made in favour of ingesting magic mushrooms.

nice one! This tells me that prohibition of cannabis is good for jobs. It appears that half the resources must be tied up fighting the herb of peace which is good news for the purveyors of hard and dangerous drugs

I have never taken magic mushrooms (psylocybin, just in case you happen to be living in a nunnery and unfamiliar with such things Psilocybin - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia) and would not recommend them to anyone who drives a car. I drove every day at the time that many of my friends were using them and saw that they could have "flashbacks" even a day or two after they had gotten stoned on them. It happens very suddenly; a person can just switch off in mid-sentence and their eyes glaze over.

Not good if it happens when you're driving. That's why I never tried them. But I will one day and mention this only as a word of caution. If you don't drive, have a nice trip.

This question might explain some of Sarahj's more esoteric posts.

That is the really troubling aspect of it for myself Zebedee, and the really hard drugs, Heroin, Meth, Crack will hit the poorest in society the most.

havent posted since the first few pages but this thread has been a delight to read. Havent smoked in a while, like most people i used to smoke pollen & tobacco joints in my younger days but went to live abroad and got too used to smoking nice grass. Wont smoke tobacco now so im fairly screwed as cant get grass here.

Might take a nice break to amsterdam before the new year to recapture that warm feeling.

As for the question of the legalisation of cannabis. To me there is no argument as to whether it should or not (clearly it should) but unfortunately like everything else in this country the decision will not be based on facts or common sense but on politics and money. Its makes me sad to live in a place like this.

    As i said great thread

Many nightmares just waiting to happen, I have known teenage boys (quiet types) to have transformed into kidnappers, torturers and murderers when meth base and crack were around.

There will be robbery, there will be beatings, there will be murder, there will be two fingers severed because of the National Drugs Strategy.

Does cannabis use have a positive impact on teenage boys?
