In an interview on prime time in feb 2007 gormally calls for flouride to be taken out of our water as it has been shown to be damaging in more than one area of health, and that we are the only european country to flouridate our water.. NOW THE TRAITOR WANTS TO CHARGE US FOR BEING POISONED and dumbed down..

I read somewhere that Dublin and Sligo wanted to stop putting this into the water supply but were overruled by the Irish government!

No, several other countries do so also.

Some areas in Britain do so, others don't. But the British government wants to INCREASE the amount of water flouridation.

Read this story from the Guardian last year:

"Fluoride should be routinely added to water supplies to reduce high levels of tooth decay, Health Secretary Alan Johnson will recommend this week.
Overwhelming evidence of improvements to dental health in areas with fluoridated tap water mean local communities should seriously consider making the switch, he will tell MPs.

Johnson will signal that ministers think it is time to end the situation where just 10 per cent of the population drink water containing fluoride. Although areas such as the West Midlands and north east of England add it to their water, most do not, and neither do Wales, Scotland or Northern Ireland. Children in Birmingham, which has had fluoridated water since 1964, have half the rate of tooth decay of those in Manchester, where water is untreated."

If the north don't add it and we do is there any evidence than we have better teeth than them? Or that they do better than us in the areas where there are concerns about fluoride?

Did you read the newspaper report I quoted above?

"Children in Birmingham, which has had fluoridated water since 1964, have half the rate of tooth decay of those in Manchester, where water is untreated."

I presume the statistics in Ireland would be similar.

yip i read the article, but if you had taken the time to look at the interview with gormally you would have seen that there is still a wider debate with regards to flouride and health. In the states last year an extensive study was done finding that Flouride is an industrial by-product which is put into water and has been proven to affect teeth, bones, brain, thyroid gland and iq!
