The John O’Donoghue files (Part 2 –"Bermingham")

The second in a multipart series. JOD flies to Manchester, goes to "Bermingham" and on to London... that "Cartel" crowd come up again. Interesting amounts charged.

Well done Gavin. Seems Cartel are charging different amounts if you or me call them, very odd.

Euro 767.32 for the VIP lounge and another Euro 248.77 for VIP facilities at Heathrow airport. That is money well spent!

As the "laughable" rules do not require our elected betters to provide receipts for their expenses, could it be possible that what JOD is claiming is not what he was charged by Cartel?

I wonder if Mr and Ms O'D pay for VIP services at airports when they are travelling for pleasure and paying with their own cash?

Surely a high flying government minister would not have time to be hanging around a VIP lounge?

There seems to be a few quid going on
    "Minister/Spouse Foreign Sub"
Is this 'expense' paid to the ministers spouse, a daily rate just for going on the trip?

Apart from the VIP Lounge stuff and spousal expenses, the car hire costs are the ones which appear way over the top. How is it possible to spend nearly €9000 on car hire over a few days in the UK ?
Separate claims of €6994.36 and €1848.88 are itemised in the document

All payable to this T Gallagher car hire crowd

I'm pretty sure it would be cheapear to hire a private jet

That is the great unanswerable question. And as there is no itemised bill from the Cartel car company (as one is not needed) we will never know.

can you imagine what Bertie and the rest were up to with this car company?
