Gone are Idealists and men of principle!

Why is there no politicians any more that are principled men who have the testicular fortitude to stand up for the concept of what's right and wrong; no wonder the disaffected and delusional youth of today have no interest in politics? 'Where have all the heroes gone?'

it's our own fault dedalus - we vote for the slime balls and the politicians who tell us what they think we want to hear.

This is the core problem of politics in most democracies these days. 'Principle' is dead. I recall one FF councillor expressing bewilderment at the fact that some people taking part in the anti-bin charges protests did not 'even have to pay bin charges'. For the life of him he could not understand the concept of standing up against a perceived injustice when one had nothing to gain.

    Very sad.
A P.ie moderator stated this on June 25th 2010: P.ie tolerates very broad free speech, and thus allows sectarian bigotry etc

'You never said a truer word, Kev. Maybe we should set up a new party called: "The Principled Man Party! "

What would you expect from FF, they are all a shower of "me feiners". There should be a new party built on centrist principles and ideology and moving away from the civil war designations and parish pump , me fein , cronyism laden petty politics.

Why do all politicians have to be men?

Testicular Fortitude :!: What does that mean :

No wonder women are disaffected from politics when people are looking for male politicians with testicular fortitude :!:

The Blessed Margaret had more balls than the rest of her cabinet.

    It's only an expression.
