    McCabe killers to be released

I'm reading on another forum that the remaining prisoners who were involved in the robbery in Adare, Co. Limerick in which Jerry McCabe died will be released from prison tomorrow.

Better a decade late than never.

What ever happened to the money they murdered for? I'd hope they get it when they're released, as I'll assume none of them ever worked a day in their life.

Killing scumbags. As Mel Gibson once referrd to a man called Jimmy Shaker in the 1996 movie "Ransom", "these people are human garbage".

I hope they are proud of themselves. At least they will have a safe home in Toiresa Ferris's home.

They served their time, now they should be allowed live in peace.

Doesn't work like that. It's ok for families in the North to meet people released under the good GFA but not in the South. Such hypocrisy!

    True...

also the Irish establishment have had absolutely no regard for the family of Jerry McCabe as well

..and yes before anyone else says it I know that his killers obviously had no regard either.

They didn't qualify for release under the GFA, which is why they're only getting out now.

Is there a law against holding a public celebration when killers are released or is it just considered bad PR?
