Bertie is gone; one way or the other!

If the numbers dont stack up for FG/Lab after the next election, some people think its a foregone conclusion that Labour will dump Rabitte and go in with FF. Surely with Bertie as leader this cannot happen? Surely Howlin and co would have to go in with FF, ONLY IF A NEW LEADER IS IN PLACE!!
So in short I think this episode has just cost Bertie his dream of 3-in-a-Row.
