Take someone who has already had their pay and conditions cut in the private sector and is relying on his/her public servant partners's wages to pay the mortgage.
Up to a million people is a lot of people to pi*s off. Big political calculation involved well before debating the rights and wrongs of it.
civil servents tend to breed "inhouse" so only 115k households will be pissed off!!!

that was a joke by the way to any literal neanderthals who start criticising me...

So somebody who reads something you say and assumes that you mean it is a literal neanderthal?

Does that mean that someone who reads what you say and assumes you mean the opposite is a numeric superman?

I am quite looking forward now to a thoughtless slashing of our pay and the look of deisbefief on the face of politicians when they try to explain why key services have collapsed in the middle of the winter. This war has reached the stage where hurting the enemy is looking more important than saving yourself. The lies at the core of this society need to see the light of day or this will never end.

    Selfish & destructive? yes

But that is honestly how I am starting to feel.

Well I dont think it the middle class reasonably well paid you need to be worrying about, but I do think this country is on the verge of going off the deep end. I strongly suggest somebody lock up the liberal right wing for a year of two, we dont bend in this country, we break! This will be biblical if these guy continue. Cant see a riot squand on pay cuts breaking their asr* either.
