    Coughlan-"Lack of Social Workers inexcusable"

Did anyone else here Mary Coughlan in her "finality" ( where does she come up with these words that she then feels she has to continuously use..it was percentile a few weeks ago).....
....anyway, did you here her agree twith the panelist when she said it was inexcusable that over 1,000 children currently are in care of HSE with no social worker facilities!!! Mary said "it was inexcusable"" and she is the Tánaiste FFS

She is supposed to be a social worker in a previous life. She should resign and go back to do that for which she was trained. She would achieve immensely more as a social worker than as a useless politician. But the problem is €40,000 as a professional social worker v €250,000 as a waste of space politician. Luckily for her, its a no brainer.

The papers have picked up on "finality".
There was a piece in last Saturday's Indo mentioning her constant use of odd phrases which are used to compensate for her lack of grasp of the issues.
The jist of the article is that being "one of the lads" can only get you so far in politics.

"Me remaining as Tanáiste and Minister for Enterprise, Trade and Employment is inexcusable" - thats what she should have said!

Re lovely Mary's social work quals, she did a degree in social work of some kind and if she ever worked as a social worker it was only for a few months 20 years ago so whether she would be a great help to currently overburdoned social workers is open to question.

Was surprised they allowed her out for Q&A, and she must have been coached as she didn't make any obvious gaffes. Quite a boring programme.
