Noise Pollution: stricter laws in residential areas

Having first hand experience of this for the last week we're I live- I can safely say that this is one of the areas which needs to be toughened up, and made more stringent on the statute books. For instance our noise pollution laws at the moment appartently state that the given hours, construction can begin in a residential area is between 7am and 11pm. Surely this should be brought up to at least 9am in the morning, and back to 10pm at night? It is disgraceful that our noise pollution laws are so leniant in regards to the early hours of the morning, and at what consitutes bed-time for large numbers of the population. Noise pollution laws need to be toughened up for the good of the community and neighbourhood's in which people reside.

Yeah i agree, I am personally more concerned with the neighbours noise levels.

Some idiotic and careless neighbours where I live had parties which spilled on to the balconies until the early hours.

It's seems to have stopped now though, maybe it's something to do with my new hunting rifle I have to visably carry in a case through to the underground car park whilst in combats going out on the weekends.

    I wonder.

It gives a good squeak alright. Those field cretins love it too.

But seriously, the law should be changed for sure. 9am - 9pm sounds best for construction and parties next door. How anyone has the neck to have a gang on the balconies at the early hours and carry on like nobody has an issue with it amazes.

We should be allowed to shoot noisey neighbours.

Why didn't you stagger out with your teddy under your arm and tell them that you weren't a happy camper?.
