    I may be wrong, but I think HIV sufferers have always received free treatment in Ireland as well. Mind you, given that the government was directly responsible for infecting many of the early victims (Haemophiliacs) it would be a poor bloody show if treatment wasn't free.

    yes treatment is free in Ireland for HIV patients, it is also free for a number of other long term or terminal illnesses, cancer, epilepsy and SF are also included
