    Whatever figure was given in the census, is almost guaranteed to be a gross under-estimate. I usually add 50% to whatever number the government gives.

    There are probably 130,000+ Chinese in Ireland by now. The vast majority of whom will be working on piss-poor wages, competing with locals for the ever-decreasing supply of jobs. And a significant proportion will be downright illegal immigrants - especially "students" who've mysteriously failed to go home.
