Don't like being insulted by someone who doesn't know anything about you?
I made a comment about a politician who was on TV trying to appeal to people to vote for him for Europe. He happened to be a FGer. Now I think ALL politicians and aspiring politicians are fair game for criticism, particularly on a political discussion board! If you think thats scraping the bottom of the barrel well then I guess thats your opinion. But you'll forgive me for politely disagreeing.
Er, wtf are you talking about? Did I hit a nerve by pointing out that some politician was making a complete fool of himself on national television. I thought it was pretty obvious that he was and therefore I didn't feel the need to elaborate as to why I thought that.
If you are a friend, relative or supporter of the politician in question then I do apologise if I caused you some offence. But this is a political discussion board where politicians of all colours get some stick from time to time!
Personally, I'm never insulted. Why do you think I placed a question mark beside the word Blueshirt. It doesn't mean anything to me.
Anyways, if you think a politician is making a tit of himself, point out why and in what way, don't engage in lazy commentary, just because you're not that way inclined. I have to say, I'm a FG supporter but I often comment on SF threads etc and not in a lazy, predictable way.
Fair enough, but I genuinely believe if you're going to call someone a tit, it's a little personal, especially when you don't elaborate as to why you think this.
Anyways, no point in going round in circles. I also take back the statement that your posts scrape the barrel. They don't. I think this only happens, and we're all guilty of it, when people post negatively and no explanation is forwarded for this.
