"Ever tried. Ever failed. No matter. Try again. Fail again. Fail better."
I will never forget this until my dying day. An historic piece of televison.
What can you say? Society as a whole were responsible for these reprehensible acts. But I believe the Catholic Church have so much to answer for. I did not grow up in Ireland but in the UK, with Irish Catholic parents so I did not have an experience of the hold the CC had on the country. My heart aches for the suffering of all those children. I also think of the few good people who may have tried to make a difference and how much they must regret that perhaps they did not try harder to break the hold of the CC.
that is a powerful clip. Thanks for posting it as I am out of the country and missed this.

Very powerful clip

"Yawn , am I alive yet ?"
I watched this clip again, and again because you need too. I admire this gentleman so much.
We have a thread on this for the last day.
