Indoctrination is fairly negative in and of itself. It doesn't have to be the extreme form that femme takes it to mean to be used in the pejorative. Even if kids were being lightly indoctrinated with liberalism or whatever doctrine you see as positive, it would still be negative.

I donīt need expertise in, or experience of, catholic education to inform my opinion that all religious education of the type you advocate constitutes indoctrination. And while you say I am entitled to my opinion you then proceed to question the validity of that opinion - but in doing so you have just re-affirmed the interpretation I offered of your view earlier on this thread - "a catholic state for a catholic people", and the likes of me can like it or lump it - since we are not really qualified to participate in the discussion. The place of the non-catholic in your Ireland has been made abundantly clear. Now I know where I stand !!

We have nothing to be greatful to the Church for in terms of education as in reality they abused their position of authority. It is no better than thanking a parent for feeding a child that they also molest.
NO PROGESS TO DATE BY gOVERNMENT ON THIS ISSUE....AMAZING!

At least we could be sure they'll be considerably safer from the risk of sexual molestation.

    Which is a nice thought.
