Cowen attended Heineken Cup in Edinburgh

    Does anyone know the following:

    1. What method of transportation did he use?
    2. Did he pay his own way or was it on the tax payers coin?

I am amazed that banking guarantee aside this country is losing €60,000,000.00 per day and this clowen is taking weekends off to attend sporting events.

A Leinster man attended the Heineken Cup Final, well I never. Seriously, he is entitled to the odd day off. Whats the problem?

he was hanging around Baltray for the Golf - thankfully 3 did not allow him to present the Cup

(BTW - he used an Air Corp Helicopter to get to Baltray and he was booed by the people - the media did not report this)

I dont think he is entitled given the serious state of the nations finances.

    1. I am assuming it was the government jet at a cost of 6000 euro an hour...sad really when nurses are being let go at sligo general and crumblin childrens hospital, that he can continue to use this mode of transport.

I'd say the cost of its use over the course of a year would keep a ward open in Crumblin's children's hospital for a year.

    2. Taxpayer paid of course, you don't expect Cowen, Coughlan et al to pay for their own transport costs.

The deeper the sh1t the country is in, the more extravagant their tastes. This demonstrates more than anything how out of touch they are.

I hear he changes his underwear daily. The taxpayer should be outraged at this practice in times of recession and force him to turn them inside out so he can get two days out of him.

now thats a typical FF gombeen response you have provided us with minion

    The people are annoyed:

for example, Cowen used an Air Corp Helicopter to get to Baltray and he was booed by the people - the media did not report that the crowds booed cowen
