    I wonder if they are they only 'secular' organization/group/body with something on their conscience?

    Saying sorry isn't enough.

    I, for one, was very very surprised the information that the ISPCC, formerly NSPCC, was such a significant player in the abuse of children. Why is this only surfacing now?

    They must make a massive financial payment to victims.

    Good point. The judges who sat in court and committed these kids too should be named and shamed.

    This is a massive problem. About ten years or so ago, the brother of the then Home Secretary Jack Straw had to resign as Chair of a children's charity over there because he was found in possession of child pornography. Nobody wants to confront this problem but it is the caring professions - the very people employed to look after the most vulnerable children to which paedophiles and abusers are attracted - teaching, social work etc etc. They are very skilled at disguising themselves and getting into positions of authority and power over children. Of course most people in those professions are entirely innocent but the problem is terrible.
