Subliminal messages in YouTube videos

This is an area that has always interested me and I thought I might take a look at what could be considered hidden messages in YouTube videos. I thought I might begin with your favourite, Muj and investigate some of the unspoken messages in his videos.

The flag clearly places the rhetoric within the context of Ireland, it also clearly indicates a sense of belonging. Interestingly there is no attempt on Muj's part to try fit in, the message seems to be 'accept him for who he is'.
Another feature, the embedded crescent in the white portion of the flag is striking. It's only there briefly, at the beginning and the end - what's the message?
As Muj speaks, Gilmore and Kenny are clearly visible on either side of him, the message above Muj calls on Muslims to make their vote count. Muj has consistently castigated both Labour and Fine Gael for their position on the hijab - what is he telling Muslim voters in the video?

LOL I love the bit where he says "we're dealing with a menace" after the Shark has taken a huge chunk out of the Golden gate Bridge. Such understated subtlety.

I thought subliminal messages were messages or images that the mind doesn't consciously recognise - i.e. images flahsed so quickly that their meaning/significance is literally subliminal. It's supposed to be banned but I've often wondered if it's used more than we might suspect.
Apparetnly McDonalds or one of these burger people were banned from using it in cinemas at one time.

That's exactly it. In the 2000 Presidential elections the Bush ads flashed the word Democrats on the screens when they were attacking Al Gore in TV ads. Later it was found that they were slowing down the animation so that the RATS in DEMOCRATS lingered slightly too long.

It seems that the brain registers messages in this way without the mind knowing.
