Joan Burton: Sunglasses In The Dail

Joan Burton giving Lenihan a good roasting whilst wearing sunglasses on her head in the Dail today (Oireachtas Report) - Gillian Bowler style.

Now she's looking very nice and summery, but are sunglasses on ones head not a bit much?!

Ah yes the Costa del Dail, always remember to bring sunglasses. I have a better idea- why not give earplugs to all ministers for those labour speaking sessions

She may have forgotten that they were there.

Sometimes, after even very minor eye surgery or eye infection, one has to keep the sunglasses at the ready as any bright lights can irritate. give her the benefit of the doubt.

I was abused at length one time for wearing sun glasses in the v of my polo shirt.
Every one sees what you appear to be, few really know what you are, and those few dare not oppose themselves to the opinion of the many, who have the majesty of the state to defend them.

Doubt it. She made a good attempt at the summer look.

Gilmore Tide? Doesn't have the ring to it that "Spring Tide" had. I much prefer, "Ex-Sticky Tide", always remember where he came from.
