I didn't write the statement, anyway i think the attitude of the RUC is adding to the attacks not preventing them. I saw a cop on the news saying patrols would be stepped up in nationalist areas to prevent retaliatory attacks!! blaming the people who are getting attacked, unbelievable.

IMHO I believe people should use this thread to say RIP or condemn the attack.

If you happen to believe the Ballymena police to be inadequate, then put it on another thread, and not use the boy's (very recent) death to score points.

Just saw that on UTV, absolutely sickening.

Hope they nail the vermin that did it and the c**ts intimidating the witnesses.

Pogo,The RUC are complicit in these attacks, every nationalist in Ballymena knows it. The 32 CSM are a political movement therefore they make political points around political issues such as political murders and political policing if you wish to accuse them of scoring political points then feel free.

Pogo - when you consider these are the exact same cops who somehow managed to miss the entire Ahoghill pogrom 5 miles down the road last summer, the utter utter failure of the PSNI to do anything to tackle Loyalist murder gangs in the Ballymena area, and also the utter utter failure of any Unionist politician to have anything to say about Loyalist terrorism, well....

This is the reality of Norn Irn. This is the kind of society that Unionism built and encouraged since 1920. Those of us who had to live under that vile regime have always known the true nature of God's Wee Ulcer, but for most of my life you couldn't criticise the sickness at the heart of Unionism without the peanut gallery yelling that you were a baby-killing Provo bomber.

Now that they have finally left the stage, Unionism stands exposed and has nowhere to hide. Denial and whataboutery are no longer viable escape hatches from having to confront the ugly truth.

It's not point scoring, because as a Northern Catholic I could have been randomly killed by Loyalists at any time myself just like Michael. Or over 1,000 others. We were all in the same boat. And the State didn't just not give a damn. The State actively encouraged, armed, directed and covered for those responsible. And is still doing so to this day.

Spare me your false crocodile tears and waffle about propriety. You support Unionism? Well this is Unionism in all its psychotic glory. Hope you like the view.

Im just saying he was stupid for going there
The above comments display very low humanity - I suggest that either Unionist gracefully apologise & withdraw comments or that we should ask for his removal.

I would nominate this as the worst post I've ever read on politics.ie.

    Congratulations.
