    Bertie Ahern

I think Bertie Ahern would make a brilliant Lord Mayor if he was given some executive powers that is. Even though he was the catalyst for the country's downfall I would still be delighted if he was the new Lord Mayor of Dublin. Sure when you think of it who could be better?

Thank you for that witty contribution. Just in case you're serious, the answer is 'virtually anyone other than Ray Burke'.

The Monk would certainly be less of a gangster.

The man isn't entitled to representative office, elected office or any kind of authority either in public service or private industry.

Seriously! What is the point of a thread like this? I suppose you think it will be funny when it descends in to a slagging match etc. Threads like this do nothing for this site except open it up to ridicule.
The tribunal has yet to issue its judgement on Mr.Ahern but in my opinion he is not fit to run an ice cream van.
