    Swedish chef, not!

He was on both NewsTalk and Radio 1 yesterday. He was way too hyped up on both occasions. I find him far too emotive. More heat than light. However, he's a guy who does interesting stuff with food, so I wouldn't be inclined to call him a complete and utter muppet.

Yes, I heard some sort of a shouting match yesterday, didn't recognise any of the voices ( not a foodie ) but found it hilarious that some guy got the name of the fella he was arguing with wrong on a few occassions, despite being corrected. Was that the same discussion ?
If it was, I hope he has better recall in the kitchen.

How this lad still gets meeja time is beyond me.....ah, no wait, he had free food at this press conference....actual 'gift grub' one could say!!
This merely shows how little you know about Food and Bord Bia, Ireland has an abundance of good food, Bord Bia in charge of promoting it, and they have made a complete balls, it is another goverment civil service waste of space, look at how much money they use to "promote" irish food.

Corrigan is correct and is one of the few people to have been consistent about this, maybe his style of delivery could be improved , but remember he is only a chef not a trained media pr person, Bord Bia should be abolished along with most of the other quangos.

Weren't the dioxin-tainted rashers all stamped with the Bord Bia stamp of approval? They clearly don't do much testing in that case. So what do an Bord Bia do? And are they doing it well? Its good to ask these questions.

evidence?.....from my take on it anyone who can flog the fat filled KerryGold to health focused Europeans are doing a good job at marketing (even if the food is bad for ya).......Corrigan knows nothing of food science, agriculture, food production....even the "craft butchers" have hammered him (and that crowd shouldn't be trifled with as they sound very scary)...Sector bites back at Corrigan jibe - News & Features, Farming - Independent.ie

    From that article..
The IFA said Bord Bia's quality assurance schemes were essential in securing premium market access for top quality Irish food produce in 160 countries.
That's not what the IFA were saying during the pork dioxin scare.

Is this a poll? If so, I'd like to cast my ballot on the motion ''Is Richard Corrigan a complete muppet''.

For the record, I voted for the awarding of the status of Muppethood.
If I could mass-sterilise the planet, I would. Seriously.
