He is spot on. The multiculturalist Left should now see where this ideology is leading us. If you accept the principle of cultural-neutrality by the State, then blasphemy-laws come with that.

don't see an awful lot of untruths in that article. Myers writes in his usual style which can give some ammo to the useful idiots but the thrust of his article is correct IMO. But why not just shoot the messenger as usual.

Ahhhhh Now, this is not surprising in the least. Myres stating that it will only benefit immigrants, the intolerant kind of course, not generally, and militant muslims. Notwithstanding the fact that the Muslim community has not, in fact, been consulted on the issue or supported it to date.

Now I agree with Myres in the sense that it will only encourage religious extremists, but he solely confines it to militant muslim immigrants!! Quel suprise!! A lovely display of xenophobia!!

I don't deny it but he could be a little more balanced. Do you honestly believe that the Legion of Mary or Opus Dei or Coir or some such conservative Catholic grouping would not jump on the bandwagon of this legislation with equal glee?

People who are uneasy with themselves look for the slightest difference in others to scaremonger about in the hope that that will draw a veil over themselves rendering them free from scrutiny. I think it is called an inferiority complex.
