    Man shot dead by PSNI

Just got a call there - the PSNI shot someone at a veichle checkpoint near Ballynahinch. Not sure if there was a commemoration taking place nearby...

Edit - Checked text there - he's dead and 5 others have been arrested.

I find it bizzare that news report gives no explanation why the shots were fired in the first place?

A police spokesman said a number of shots were fired at a car in Church Street on Sunday morning.

    What is this all about?

Thinking about it it doesn't... the person who called said something like "wonder was there a easter commemoration going on?" which is why I posted it... :P

Great, just what we needed today. Lets hope there is a very good explination for this. If there is any IRA or sectartarion link there could be trouble.
