Sacked Junior ministers to get €53k pay off

No link yet, but according to Vincent Browne this is the lead story in tomorrows Indo. Considering the average salary in Ireland is about 30k a year this is a total disgrace.

I would have thought they would have the sense not to do this. Between the bankers, HSE and the TD we are being anally raped on a daily basis by FF and their friends.

Junior FF minister john maloney lives in the small town of mountmellick he owns a pub and the undertakers and earns 120k a year and if you just walk a few doors up from the pub on dole day you will see the queues of people collecting the dole truly sickening from these aloof out of touch halfwits.
This to me screams "let them eat cake"

Did anyone hear that clip from Coward... i mean cowan on the radio claiming that the removal of the long service payment for TDs was only ever intended for new people claiming it.. not the old ones.

The people put up with it, they'll keep getting screwed... there's still a good proportion of people I am canvassing who are glazy eyed telling me that all our problems are down to "international factors"... I walk briskly away from those doors..

Mind you, with stories like this.. you'd wonder is Cowen trying to lose every single council seat for FF

The reason Cowen is doing this is to stop a FF backbench revolt.
