    MASS-IMMIGRATION HAS CAUSED MASS-UNEMPLOYMENT

We have seen that the main Parties are fielding Immigrant Candidates for Labour, Fianna Fail, Fine Gael, Sinn Fein and the Greens........................ I personally oppose anyone that isn't an Irish National to run in any elections we have and be candidates in an area where I live.

The "New Irish" are Immigrants (they are not Irish, we've nothing in common with them socially and genealogically. So how can we call them Irish when they are culturally different too?), they do not share the same concerns that the average Irish Person is currently experiencing and cannot relate to what we as a community are going through............. so why let these people run for office when they cannot represent you.

I honestly see bloc voting and favouritism happening in the euro/local elections because we have seen this happen in eurovision where neighbours or closely related people vote for their choice not out of policies but the fact they are from a similar background........................

We will see councils filled completely with "New Irish" who do not represent the areas that elected them, it will appear like Gerrymandering or disproprtionate.

I believe that if you really want your voice heard and speakout against Mass-Immigration.................. Boycott the main parties and vote for the independents.
You convinced me. I am going voting for Declan Bree now

Ireland when it had a small non-national population was fine........... I remember it as far back as 1995!

We were not worried about our national identity eroding

Foreign Nationals we are always welcomed everywhere they went................ locals even bought them a Drink as a way of saying Céad Mile Fáilte.

Non-nationals that arrived in the Country to work and live, actually made the effort to learn english and participate in the local community.

Now............ we don't see any of that.

We have let in the equivalent of 50 Years worth of France's Immigration Levels into Ireland, and it is wrong to highlight this and say it is dangerous?

    Dotski's a narrow-minded little xenophobe--a Bill Shankley-type xenophobe!

You're an ignorant pathetic Little Irelander, dotski.

    A Bill Shankley-type Little Irelander!

Only an utter fool could quote that mush about "socialism" that you have at the bottom of your posts.

And if you developed the ability to read you'd be aware I never disputed this. he is the one saying immigrants should be expelled. I simply pointed out that if he hated it so much here, he was free to leave (he seemed to suggest in his reply that he couldn't as it's "not his home", but that his choice, no-one's forcing him to). Also if the UK had similar views to him, his family would never have been allowed to settle there. If you can't see the point being made here, you're not the brightest .....

Already did in another thread, unlike you I've not got the time to spend hours debating the same points over and over again.

You really are descending into madness, aren't you? I've never described Ugandans stepping off planes in Ireland Irish, not claimed that Da Brow isn't - and yet you rant on claiming it as the truth.

And then you call me a racist.

Still, probably helps with your therapy, eh?

PS Da Brow - are you happy in the company of friends like this?

Now that I have dealt with that utter fool dotski's attempt to derail the original posting, anyone who opposes Mass Immigration has space to express their views as to whom they will vote for.

In my case, I will hold my nose and vote for Libertas, even though as a leftist I differ from Ganley on many issues. As to local elections, I will probably spoil my vote by writing some remark about Fianna Fail the Mass Immigration Party.

I wish I had better options.

That appears to be 3 posts where you rant on about Bill Shankley in a way that makes you look mentally unstable. You also are calling me a Little Irelander - despite that being a reference (when made by normal people) to someone with a national chauvinist attitude (something neither my friends nor enemies would believe)

Yer a gas man, all the same, aren't ya?

Lay down the law to immigrants? Definitely. But if an immigrant comes here is a responsible citizen, pays his/her taxes and is honestly trying to contribute to what they see as their new home then fine by me. Encouraging people to not vote for someone because they are deemed not Irish enough after they have met all possible criteria simply smacks of bigotry and undermines legitimate efforts to limit the number of foreigners in the country.

Clanrickard, I'm saying that Ireland has changed dramatically with the last 10-15 years.

We are not ready for such huge changes to Irish Society that we have seen in such a short period of time, and I doubt that we are ready to allow people that have literally arrived in the country to run for office and claim that they understand their host nations people.

Answer is they don't; if we had a very small non-national population and I mean no more than 1% of the country composing of all UN Recognised nationalities, then I couldn't care less but we are still allowing huge numbers of people into Ireland that have no links to the place.

we have jumped from a country that was 98% Irish in 1995 to probably what is more likely 83% Irish inless than 15 years................ it is very alarming.

There are too many Non-Nationals in the country and still arriving into the country, inadvertantly taking jobs that are appearing when most Irish People are losing theirs and having to possibly leave Ireland.

    We are experiencing great displacement
