Brian Cowen now using Stewards Lodge at Farmleigh - Sunday Times

Brian Cowen lets out Dublin pad - Times Online
He has a house in Offaly, an apartment in Dublin, investment properties in the UK and now hes getting free accommodation from the state.
And people on here are complaining about a teacher who cant afford to pay a mortgage on her house after years of HIS mismanagement of the public finances.

I think its a good idea. I have always thought the Taoiseach should have an official residence in Dublin.

I think it about time Cowen called clean about all his vested interests.
Time for the Irish Goverment to do the honorable thing and go. If thay have any honour left.

It seems Cowan has not being paying for the Flat in England either. And indeed seem to be not of such good quality.

Perhaps only allowing self-sufficient gentlemen enter politics wasn't such a bad idea afterall. Especially when you look at the current calibre in Dail Eireann.

Perhaps a less Presidential residence set up would suffice ? l see no problem with the provision of state apartments for Ministers who must travel ; but a house such as Farmleigh requires staff and gives totally the wrong idea of a working politician. a few apartments within walking distance of Kildare Street would provide a sensible greener option and be more geared to the (er) simple needs of politicos who are away from their family nests on the job.

It's the stewards lodge he's staying in, I'd be surprised if there was 'staff' other than perhaps a cleaner.
How many staff are there at Farmleigh for the stewards lodge?
