    A conversation I overheard in a supermarket on Easter Monday. I dont' know who they are but it went as follows:

    Person A: Are you voting to strike?
    Person B: Yes I will. I think we should be like France
    Person A: But they will have to lay people off if they cant make cuts.

    I think person A made the most sense.

    I'm not disagreeing with you, however this thread is about PS unions leaving ICTU. Not about how great the Private Sector is in Ireland. We can all see the resounding success that is all about us. Stay on topic.

    What percentage of ICTU is Public sector ... I though it was well over 60% ...
