Civil Servants Retirement: CS only please!

We came up in a generation where it was an embarassment to ask for entitlements ,were working at a young age ,were brought up to stand on your own two feet early in life.
IMO we were a mentally and psychically tougher bunch as handouts were few and far between.

you notice when you see the threads who the kids are, they like to use big words but no understanding of them, then you know the civil servant women will go out in a huff or say something like go back to cell.. lol Then when the civil servants are finished the union supporters come in. God they are so predictable, then either the kids or the union guys resort to bad language. Or like leftfemme little pics online

I asked a guy on here what was a vendor, we were talking business, then leftfemme said did I learn that at college. So then you knew she hadnt a clue.
I have kids at college and two working. Thank god they dont come out with the rubbish some of these kids are being taught..

Now you know he or she isint, because properly trained people always listen, they dont ever give advice or give their opinion. They would never use bad language. Probably doing a PLC course in fas or at school. Copying and pasting out of book.

I'd beg to differ. A couple of us (including a private sector worker whose dad is self-employed) suggested that he clearly does nothing of the sort.

That may be the case for you Atlantic but not unemployed Mark. Some of us dont require priveliges. I dont have to work at present because I worked hard over the last few years with the knowledge that I would be returning to Uni. It will difficult when I get back to working life in September because we are now in a recession. But unlike the anti PS brigade I wont b1tch about it and blame others, I will knuckle down and make it work.

Dont pity them, the University is getting thousands for the privelige of having me. Where as the country is paying thousands for the burden of having you on the dole.

Oraganisational focusing on Training and Development. Will also include some counselling skills for the coaching aspects.

I come from a T&D background and have good contacts in a few countries so should be able to sort something out.

Have already worked and earned a fortune in 4 countries - Ireland, UK, NZ and Oz. Hence the fact that I dont need to work while studying at a top University.

Oh by the way unlike you I didn't fail to make it in any of these countries either. Top dollar. If I was you I would consider refocusing yourself on T&D. Maybe FÁS have a course. It generally is a 6-9 month year (not very busy during summer) but if you are good, which I am, you can make big money.

Some of us were there for the eighties and unlike you we didn't chicken out and run off to the states. But that is what failures do.
