30% of toxic assets are outside the state.

Eamon Ryan just said this in the Dail. So, why are we going to be buying these "assets" ?

Toxic assets? Am I soon to be the proud part-owner of own a multi-storey car park at Sellafield?

The assets outside are probably going to be more valuable than the ones inside the state. There's nothing toxic about the assets. The price tag might be.

Because if we don't our access to ATM machines, chequebooks, and the ability to pay our bills will go the way of the Dodo.

This "bailout" boIIox is really becoming tedious.

Sounds great, if you are an opposition mouthpiece, but factually incorrect.

Get them sold asap, property prices going down in UK and once estate agents find out these are toxic assets owned by a foreign Govt you are into a fire-sale and every two-bit Pakistani lad on the way up will be on the carcass like flies to shlte.
