Gormless audience, gormless panel. Boring as hell. Also why is there always a female lawyer on the panel. How about a bin man or a lorry driver just to even things up.

This really shows how biased RTE are.
How did Bowman not pick him up on this comment.
There is nothing to suggest that the banking crisis is sorted what so ever.

They are as fine as the ok he gave on Ahern & Haugheys finances.
How did this incompetent unethical man get on the programme?

He referred to smart people in the Dail and the implication from the original commenter on the panel was that it was Bruton and Burton she was talking about.
Dan Sullivan. I was back but we still couldn't all have a vote.

The only person on the panel that seemed to talk sense was Matt Cooper and the audience participant that said we keep getting fed Calpol and no solutions

When they were discussing a possible class action suit by investors, I thought I spotted Mr. Bean's missus in the audience!

The programme seemed very tame to me. I was amazed that Mary Hanafin managed to get the audience laughing with her 'Calendar Girl' quip. There were a couple of mild pleas to her from the audience not to cut pensions or the carers' allowance, but nobody challenged her to justify her own inflated salary, or her colleagues' squandering of precious taxpayers' money on chofer-driven limos, helicopter trips, 1st class air tickets, etc., etc. Several commentators have described our present crisis as potentially the worst since the foundation of the State, and yet nobody in either the panel or the audience managed to land a serious verbal punch on Ms. Hanafin. Extraordinary!

Why Mr. Peelo was on the panel was totally beyond my comprehension. Matt Cooper and Ms. Walley talked some common sense, without rocking any boats.

Simon Coveney (who actually did include himself among ("the smart people in Fine Gael") comes across as earnest, but fragile. He needs a media coach to train him to speak without blinking so much. The constant blinking distracts from what he is trying to communicate.
