You know, when he mentioned he had an annoucment to make earlier in the show, I thought to myself that we was retiring.

I bet he will take over Questions and Answers. I find him more at ease talking about current affairs than some model's coke addiction. I hope he does take over Q&A.

I hope Ryan Tubidy doesnt take over the late late, as Pat said months ago, all in good time for Tubbers, but not autumn 09.

Well, that is one piece of good news to end the week.

With the amount of cuts announced in tv this week we will be back to looking at the pic of Sacred Heart to see if it moves.

Any chance they'll take the opportunity to bury the LLS - its about 30 years past its sell by date.
If engineers were wrong as often as economists, would anyone fly aeroplanes?

I think he's good on radio, but as I don't watch TV can only go on what I hear from others. And that is not good about him.

Is it true or a big Friday wind up? Do tell

Nah, I think they will made it more commerical.

Miriam, Tubidy or Grainne Seoige are likely to replace him, though I hope none of them do.

Though if RTE still have the same selector they have had for the last 3 yrs, I can only say we will have a young south county dublin girl with an quasi american accent replace him. The above mentioned type appears all the rage in RTE at the moment.
