I don't think the "rightwing" tag has stuck with the Irish people. He is in with a shot, if his impressive radio performances are anything to go by. The political-class hates him for defying them, and for the fact he is siding with the Irish people - something they are too unpatriotic to do in terms of defending the no vote. Our political-elite is unpatriotic for not defending the no vote in Europe. Ganley is patriotic for defending it.

I dont know about the patriotism or not of either stance. It is clear that change is coming and change is needed , You seem to be willing to let that change be handled by someone who refuses to lay out fundamental policies, who whorishly courts people with obnoxious political and racial views, who is already behaving exactly the way he claims others are and who can't open his mouth without evading , distorting or avoiding or misrepresenting the truth.

You must be a person with great inner faith in your own ability to weather a real crisis.

I personally dont find the current financial crisis anything either surprising or as bad yet for ordinary people as I have seen both here and elsewhere in the 70s and 80s.
interest rates at 20% and tax rate above 60 % and it starts to get real nasty

though it is coming with a serious bang.

Well since when has Labour given anything concrete with respect to how it would address the public-finances under Gilmore's leadership other than irresponsible playing to the public-sector gallery? Joan Burton won't answer detailed questions and Labour spokespersons have actually replied "no" when asked if they accepted pay-cuts in the public-sector were necessary.

[QUOTE=eurocitizan;1499520]What really gets me is the fact that Libertas supporters tell us we have to many junior Ministers yet Ganley wants 27 EU commissioners, and as the EU expands we will be inventing portfolios for them.

    QUOTE]

What Really gets me is those fake ff republicans, who in their party literature are committed to preserve Irish sovernighty within the EU but they merely prostrate themselves before whatever edict flows from Brussels and whose leadership attemps to surpress debate on europe within party ranks. I admire federalists even though I disagree within them. At least they are honest and upfront about the future of Europe.

This is typical from the "numerous"* Ganley/Libertas haters in this site. They've nothing solid to lay a blow on us so they instigate witch hunts against anybody who dares not to join in their comical rally on nonsense against Libertas and Ganley.

Toxic Avenger is a long standing, reasonable and same poster here on p.ie. He has stated his political preference and also his voting intention here many times yet these freaks* see fit to hound him as a Libertas supporter in disguise. It's bloody ridiculous and indicative of the weirdo stalking tactics of a few* people on this site.

If TA votes for anybody but kathy Synnott, as he's said he would numerous times here, I'll buy him a pint and I'kk eat the glass it comes in.

*given the uniform bahaviour of these fly by night posters one can assume they are all the same person.
    A poster of some consequence...

Are Libertas going to stand against Kathy Synnott in Munster?

Was it Ganley who said the Synnott and Libertas agree on 99% of the issues?

What was the 1% they disagreed on?

So anyway, why does it take eight months to produce details of a loan agreement that supposedly already exists?
"Elite - a small superior group; esp one that has a power out of proportion to its size." (Oxford English Dictionary)

The majority cannot therefore be the elite.
