    Date set for emergency budget

    The Taoiseach has said the supplementary Budget will be introduced in the Dáil on 7 April.

    Second budget this year and the 3rd in 6 months ? Seems the are avoiding April 1st for some reason? Must be a sore point for them....

    wtf is a carbon tax anyhow? a tax on fuel? on people? on cows? can someone explain that to me?

    Leave the cows alone
    Isn't carbon tax meant to tax things that produce CO2 ?
    So yes people will be taxed for well just existing.

    I am just waiting for the chimney and window tax to come back.
