Sue away I say, the only one who's reputation will be damaged is Quinlivan.

I hope he sues. It would transfer some Northern Bank money to the hands of barristers in the form of fees.

Quinlivan seems to have failed at the first hurdle in his defamation case against O'Dea with the judge refusing to grant him an injunction against O'Dea stopping him from repeating comments he made to the Limerick Leader linking him to a brothel which had operated from an apartment owned by his brother, Nessan Quinlivan. The judge said the court did not want to interfere with freedom of speech in an election campaign.

Still would love to see Quinlivin sue. If he were going to do it, he would have done so before now.
    Lest we forget.

How could any of us forget! We read the same oul tripe from these posters on every thread that has anything to do with SF.

Most of these posters have thousands of posts and in their opinion are never wrong.

    i know what you mean.
however this time its different in that they are demonstratably wrong.

example "Possibly but Quinlivin still can't sue.... if he were going to do it, he would have done so before now."

Maybe the same posters could be big enough to come back to this thread and admit they were wrong!
