Well Yes !

We are now on notice that the Irish Government will go back to the past methods that have failed so badly and will introduce New tax measures to fill the gaping hole in the public finances .This means that the workers now excluded from paying tax on their wages of 400 euro and under will now get clobbered with tax and earn even less and this is only the start.! We can also expect that they will cut the minimum wage level and tax the children’s allowance ,remove the interest relive for 2nd Homes and general increases all round for local charges to be introduced later on in the year .these charges will come in the form of a House Levy of perhaps 1000 euro per House hold .Wait an see you heard it here first !!!!

This Government cannot get its sums right !! and we ,” God love us ” will now have to suffer even more because of the incompetence of this Taoiseach and Finance Minister. Expecting this pair to get us out of this mess is a cruel joke on the unsuspecting Irish People

We’re in the Grip of an unprecedented attack on the publics private wealth and this Nations economics Independence ,nothing short of a State of emergency should be declared and drastic measures should now be taken.These are some of the measures that should now be considered

An imitate 50% deduction on all civil servants salaries over 100,000. euro

the Doctors employed in the health service should have a cap of 50,000 euro

pensions of X TD,s and Ministers should be capped to One pension per individual irregardless of office held and capped to a max of average industrial wage 35,000 euro and only payable upon reaching the age of 65 years and only if the individual is not working elsewhere

X TD,s and civil-servants should be barred from taking up positions in the private sector if it entails them using knowledge obtained whilst working for the state , an outright ban on such individuals on obtaining jobs on the semi state boards and banking or audit companies that are engaged in State audits

An immediate deduction of the number of civil servants from the current 360 ,ooo:00 to 160,oooo if we do not tackle this now the IMF will do it for us !!!

An immediate deduction in the number of dail committees and TD,s to approx 50% of current numbers along with their salaries deductions as stated above

All Doctors trained in the state must stay and work in the state for the National health services for a period of 5 years after they become Doctors and receive the average industrial wage whilst there.

All expenses from all government bodies must be audited on a continuous bases and with no notice of such audits

these audits to be carried out be independent bodies

RTE budget to be cut and presenters salaries to reflect the New realities .It is no Longer to be tolerated that all of the top presenters are getting multiples of the salaries of the American President.These salaries must be brought back to realistic levels such as the average industrials wage Plus bonus to bring them up to a max of 50,000 euro

these measures are only the start but it is a start.! the old saying comes to mind

No one knows where the axe will fall But there is one thing we can be sure of: Whenever jobs are wiped out,

Politicians will jostle to come on to our TV screens and use words like we will set up a task force and will see to getting the work force to up-skill and re-train ,these words are only words ,because thats all we will ever hear them again .

The politician will scurry back to their comfortable Merks and choppers and in no time will be back in the Dail Bar for the last round of drinks with their Banker and Builder Buddies.

Meanwhile !

when you ( Newly Unemployed) go and look for this up-skilling or retraining you will be told that you

have to wait for currently 6 to 8 months but with the numbers now coming on to the dole you will be lucky

to get a course in a year or so and in the mean time you become penniless as your savings twitter away

because you are not eligible for the dole until you have no funds in the Bank

Meanwhile the dole queues are getting longer and it won’t be long now before we the now called Job seekers will storm the Dail and turf the current lot out and replace them with people that have never sat in there!!!

We need NEW people and NOT just a change around of existing TD,s

we should also abolish the party system as you inevitable end up with a personal cult and leader system !
What do you think , it may be time for us to start a revolt !!
