'Will you open fire on UK citizens? British Government asks its Army!

'Will you open fire on UK citizens?'

Anyone get the feeling there is a big storm coming?

What are the government playing at getting the army to ask questions like that? It's starting to sound very bad, especially if it's true the army are buying up tear gas and riot shields on mass

This story is also doing the rounds.

I thin these news reports are hyperbole and speculation. Unless they provide actual figures for purchases of new riot equipment, i´d take it with a grain of salt.
The BA has always had contingency plans for Internal Security. Nothing new there, apart from one claimed question at interview.

A follow up question: would you fire on an EU citizen?

Of course. Nothing at all to worry about.
